Virtual Heart Walk Fundraising Event

Hello Tracy Island Online,

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by heart disease or stroke. Tracy CAres just like you has a personal story of how heart disease and stroke has impacted a co-worker, a friend or a loved one.

On September 8, 2012, Tracy CAres will be helping the American Heart Association fight our nation’s No. 1 and No. 4 causes of death — heart disease and stroke. As a community volunteer group, Tracy CAres would like to invite Tracy Island Online members to help our city take a stand by participating in our "Virtual Heart Walk" fundraising event. Funds raised through the Virtual Heart Walk support research, community services, and public and professional education programs.

Any monetary donation will help raise awareness against the No. 1 killer of American men AND women. Tracy CAres will issue a receipt from American Heart Association  for donation of $25.00 or more. Not only will you help Tracy CAres achieve our fundraising goal, you’ll help the American Heart Association make important advances against heart disease and stroke and improve the health and lives of people in our community and across America.

On behalf of Tracy CAres members and volunteer walkers, I would like to thank you in advance for supporting the work of the American Heart Association. Together we will reduce heart disease and stroke — and save lives!
