I'll start. My name is Joleen Ruffin, I live in Tracy and I am the Social Networking Director for Tracy Island. I am married and have 3 kids - Saqqara (almost 6), Ayana (4, in February) and Zhuri (2, next month). I love Tracy Island Online because it gives me an opportunity to meet and get to know people outside of my usual social circle. I look forward to hearing more about all of you.

Wonderful Idea!
Well Im Ken Resendez. Ihave lived in Tracy for about 12 years, I have a wonderful Wife (Marylou) and 2 boys 1 Marc 29 (US Airforce) who served in Afgaistan and Irac and is now home safe again. then there is Chris 27 how is a wonderful kid he words at Sears and loves to help people in need. I also have a Grandson, Dillen 2 who is loved by his whole family and loves to get into the cabnets, lol. (sorry marc) I belong to a number of websights. where i can debate and learn from. this one here is a cool one. i have got to know a few nice people. and last but not least Im a Motor Tech. Meaning i work on cars, trucks, motorcycles, and big rigs. I love teaching people how to work on there own cars, (ez stuff) becouse we all must know a little about the 3000lb unit we are driving down the road. and watch for my upcoming tech tips.

I am Heidi...I have lived in Tracy off & on for 15 years. I grew up in Manteca, so been in this area for over 30 years!! I love this area! I am Divorced, no kids...I recently went back to school for Computers...
I joined Tracy Island hoping to meet & make some new Friends. I think this site is great! Very Friendly & alot of information on things to do & what's going on around Tracy!

Jambo (hello in Swahili) everyone! My name is Tony Adams, and I too live here in beautiful Tracy with my wife of 14 years Evelia, or Evie as most know her as at Bank of the West. We have three kids, Anthony (12), David (11) and Angelica who's 8. We've lived in Tracy since 2000, and prior to Tracy, we both lived in Santa Clara.
I'm currently a Deputy Sheriff in San Mateo County and have been since 1997. Prior to the Sheriff's Office, I was a Police Officer for the city of East Palo Alto. My career there began in 1989. I'm a Navy Veteran and I served on two ships; the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and the USS Mount Hood (AE 29) and I served a four year tour on shore duty at a P-3 squadron (VP-31) at NAS Moffett Field. During my naval career, I traveled to the far east twice and visited some amazing ports, meeting some amazing people along the way.
I'm an avid Harley rider, bar hopper, party goer, Jazz listener and love vacations on the high seas (cruises). On my days off, I love hanging out at home with the family, but I also enjoy getting away and heading to places like Reno at least once a month.
Meeting new folks is a MUST, especially those of like mind and those who live in Tracy.

Great Idea Joleen.
My name is Tom Gardner and my wife Kelly ad I have lived in Tracy for about 2 Years now and just bought a house here this year. We love the Tracy lifestyle and are going to be here for a long, long time. I retired from AT&T and started my consulting/web-design business last year. After a few rough spots it seems to be growing. I am involved with an organization that helps the community and I am trying to start a chapter of it here in Tracy. I joined Tracy Island to meet new people and potential clients. If you want to know more about me all you have to do is ask. I have no problem talking about myself. The people I have met are nice people and I would love to get to know more of you as time goes on.

This is great. I am Fred Isaacs - been in Tracy for 20 years retired Navy now a psychologist- we have a company that manages disabled and mentally ill clients and their funds etc. My wife is Sandra - we have 4 adult children 34,31,25,22. two of hers and two of mine - also 2 grandkids - Keenan 14 years old and Bailey 6 months old.
My professional life is normally from court or lawyer referrals - so I don't market or advertise. My interest in the site is social. I have not done social stuff on the computer before - so I'm not good at it - but I was interested in this site because its local and I am likely to either know you or someone who knows you. I really like the idea of a local site and connecting to people who actually exist in the real world I am connected to = are local to me.
I am interested in lots of things but planes and motorcyles are my current fav toys. Did some long solo rides this fall through nevada and Arizona. looking for other riders. Also have other interests.

Hi, my name is chris. I have lived in the area most of my life. I have been married to my wonderful wife (missy) for about 5 years. I am a local artist who uses wood as my main material for work. I love the downtown tracy area and can be spoted from time to time working on project in front of local bussnes's.(If you see me say hi) Some of my work is on display at Helm's Ale House on 10th and central, drop in take a look and tell Dave(the Ale master) chris sent ya. I am new to the computer network but love tracy island and tell every one I meet to check it out. Tracy island helps me to get to know the people in my comunitee and gives me an opertunity to voice my oppinion no matter how out there I may seem. I like tracyisland because it feels more personable than other networking sites(e.g. Facebook,myspace). It's nice to go to a site were you can accully meet people you just might bump into on a daly basis.

My name is Jeannie Duckworth I live in Tracy. I am a Dog groomer/ owner of Decadent Pets. I am also the founder of the Lucky Paws Foundation here in Tracy. Every Saturday from 2-4 pm we hand out free pet food to people who are on unemployment. The foundation is a non-profit and survives soley on dog/cat food donations from people in the community. I am also a mother of 3 boys and 1 nephew, my days are busy with pets and kids...I like this site because it is a little like FB only more centered on local people. I hope to grow more relationships with people within my community.

I lived in Tracy for 5 years and recently moved to Livermore. I'm married for 2 years with a 13 year old son and my extended family continues to live in Tracy. I'm looking to stay connected and make new friends in Tracy. I'm really excited about my new business venture; I'm opening up a new women's fitness boot camp in Livermore (Tuff Girl Fitness) and my first camp starts on January 4th. If there is enough interest I would also like to do some boot camps in Tracy. I have a free boot camp once a month so any ladies that are interested can try it out.
I'm looking forward to helping the Bay Area ladies get fit and live longer, healthier lives! Thanks Tracy Island for helping make this happen!
