I got my grubby hands on a MacBook Air 11" to play with. All I can say is WOW! Well I'll say more :-) I really really like this little computer. If I had to pick between the 11" or 13" model I would take the 11" for sure. Even though the processor in it isn't the fastest thing on the planet the fact there is no hard drive or moving parts helps speed the thing along on most chores. I don't really need one but I sure want one!!!!!

I think Mike wrote a blog post somewhere on SSD which was a good read. Maybe he can post the link here in this forum.

Maybe we should plan to meet again in Sept or October. I can't believe the last attempt was JUNE! At least we are ahead of the Book Lovers...we have never had a meeting. :-) Maybe we will do pizza while we nerd out? Any day better than others? Early evening?

Next week when the new update comes out the next time you sync your iphone or plug it into your computer and you run iTunes it should let you know there is an update, and ask if you want to download it. Very easy and simple.

Well nothing to exciting from Apple today for me at least. The new devices are cool looking. The one good thing about Apple is they are not afraid to change things up. The new Nano seems nice. The iTouch, was what I figured we would get. AppleTV is NICE but I already have an AppleTV with more features then what the new one gives me. The price is right however at 99 bucks. For the streaming Netflix alone that is pretty cool...but then my Blu-Ray player seems Netflix pretty well too. The idea of doing nothing but renting bugs me a bit. I like to own. But that is just me.

I am looking forward to the iPhone 4 update next week. I think that will be nice and the new iPad iOS update in Nov will be SWEET!!!!! It will allow wireless printing from the iPad and that is awesome!
