I have not heard good things about the OS.
The browser, yes..it seems to be faster to load pages, etc... I would be interested in hearing more.
Right now, I am working on digging into the Office 2010 beta ....I will let you all know what I come up with on that in a different thread. -

Cool. Yeah...I switched to Chrome browser (I think I reviewed it on TelBitConsulting.com too). It is soooo much faster than Firefox. The other one (the browser that shall not be named), I don't even use. To get away from Office's cost, I have been using OpenOffice. That is much better now that it is more Office compatible than earlier versions were.
Yeah....start another discussion on Office 2010 Beta when you have played with it. That would be cool. Office 2007 really made things harder to do and find....and saving as a docx still messes things up. -
