How did the event go last Sat?  I'm interested in pictures and anything anyone wants to share with me.  I was at the Race in Virginia so i couldnt be in two places at once.

Seems last comment was Jan. 2011. Is this still active? nothing about the rundraiser at Rusty's this Saturday. I am bringing in a few lacal American Legion Riders to hang out, support the Hansen 400 and meet you.

Hello! I am wondering if we may be able to speak? I am advocating for Hydrocephalus Awareness and know that many of our injured Soldiers are coming home from war with SHUNTS. This is to treat excess fluid and swelling in the brain. Have you been contacted by any? May we talk about how to get them support in dealing with this condition?

Hi Moms

Thanks to all who worked the Bean Festival. We collected $490.00 and 18 new names.

We have received 5 letters back already so I believe this is a success instead of not getting our calls returned.

Taking signups for Octoberfest Booth being held at St. Pauls Church Oct 23. Slots are filled for 9-noon and set-up Friday night. Need signups for noon to 3pm and 3 to 6pm takedown

Thank you letters from Bean Festival Collections done.

Fundraisers for next year will be:
Bowling Fundaiser possibly in Feb
Help with Elks Dinner for the Vets in March
Movies at the Grande sometime in late spring
Poker Run in Oct

Millie and Pilar are working on getting permission to put out collection barrels for donations for us in all the grocery stores (Raleys, Safeway, Savemarts, Food 4 Less, Smart n Final, Walmart, and Costco). Sometime in January will ask for barrels in all the schools and in late spring in all the banks. Migdalia will ask to have a barrel in Target's employee room. MOMS DID I MISS ANY WE TALKED ABOUT?

If any of you have other ideas instead of doing big fundraisers, we would like to try these barrels which Millie will ask Steve Abercrombie to borrow from Brighter Christmas

NEXT PACKING WILL BE OCT 21 AND THIS WILL BE ALL OUR TROOPS FROM TRACY (THEIR HOLIDAY BOX)

Having a son stateside in the Air Force, I can't thank you enough for what you are doing with this group. As moms we are all so proud of our military children. Personally I can hardly drive though downtown will the yellow banners with out choking up every day. I'm honored to be a Military Mom

May 31st Monday MEMORIAL DAY LUNCH - We are helping to serve the lunch at American Legion Hall Tracy Blvd at 11:00. Still taking signups to help with this. We serve the lunch after ceremony in the cemetery. Hope to see you there.

Saturday May 15th Barnes and Noble are having a donation drive tomorrow night 6-9pm in honor of Armed Forces Weekend. If any of you can drop by and check it out, it would be appreciated. I hope to see you there.

Hi All,

The Military Mom's of Tracy are having a blood drive in honor of the men and women in Fort Hood on Veteran's Day 11/11/2009. The blood drive will be held at the American Legion 1960 N. Tracy Blvd. from 12 noon to 5 p.m

We need at least 48 donations for the blood drive to be considered a success. Please call Bety Holts at 209-401-5452 to schedule.

Spread the word to family and friends.
