If you are down in San Jose, you might be interested in joining the CSIX job-search group. They meet every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the iRestaurant (Chinese Restaurant) at the corner of Stephens Creek and Blaney in Cupertino (I usually exit off I-280) on Wolfe Road, then hang a right onto Stephens Creek... the restaurant is on your right at the corner of Stephens Creek and Blaney. Don't park in the parking lot--but drive down Blaney a bit and park on one of the side streets and walk to the restaurant---folks parking in the parking lot get towed. Once you're at the meeting (be sure to bring some resumes and business cards), be sure to sign in at the reception desk as well as at the laptop computer at the head of the room. --that will get you on their YahooGroup and access to their job leads. I hope this is helpful.

I'm also curious... how are you doing with the job search? I'm also looking for a *job*... but in the meantime, I'm scrambling and busier than a grasshopper in a chickencoop. I've got my Squidoo lenses going, my Zazzle "store" going, my CafePress "stores" going, my blogs going... and getting clients here and there for my editing through LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and also working with my financial services training and seminars... so *whew* ... keeping very busy. (I don't know how I'll handle it all if I really get too successful and land a *real* job.) (I remember when I had sort of a strange job.... and my co-worker looked over at me and she said, "Heaven help us if we ever get a *real* job." ... A few years later, I had some *real* jobs... and life has been strange, ever since.)
I'll be holding another one of my seminars on Friday evening (July 23) at the Altamont Cowork Facility. You can see the event listed on Tracy Island Online in the events section. You and your buddies are certainly welcome.

People may not want something that brings their bill to a zero (that is way to expensive and extensive)...just little portable panels that they can buy....one at a time, plug them in, and get some savings. Your task should you choose to accept it is......design that and become a millionaire! :-)
