- I am a home-schooling mom who has lived in Tracy since 1991. I am a Civil War reenactor and participate in Living Histories of the time period. Currently, I am writing a series of fictional novels set during the war. I am also a member of the Tracy Writers Group.

And we know you have one novel already completed and that you're almost finished with the one you're working on now! It's been a lot of fun reading your manuscripts--and it would be totally cool to see them both on the shelves at Barnes & Noble! (Oh, to join the Tracy Writers Group here in Tracy Island, just click on the "Groups" tab and you'll see Tracy Writers pop up.

I will definately check out your blog, perhaps we've read some of the same books...stranger things have happened. And I'm real tempted about the one-day pass for the quiet, (coffee provided) office. Just knowing you're there comforts me ;) Dave, your novel is a joy to read and thank you for allowing me to tweak your dialogue. Writing dialogue is one of my most ardent passions in life! And I hope you're right about the "novelists getting published" in Tracy. Hopefully, I can be one of them!
