Goodbye Tracy Island!
It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that I say goodbye to Tracy Island! I started this community website two and a half years ago and have enjoyed every minute of sharing and learning about the wonderful community of Tracy, California. I’m participating in the July Avon Breast Cancer walk in San Francisco… I will be hosting a fundraiser event “Pretty In Pink” on Friday June 10th. Candace said… I think they are dangerous and confusing. That intersection is behind our housing tract and a lot of our neighbors are owners / operators of big rigs. I imagine a big rig in a round about would be pretty impossible, so the next thing is to make these people drive all the way to MacArthur then back track to get home.
I suspect this may be a way to eliminate a lot of the commute short cutters from Manteca, Stockton, etc who use 11th to bypass 205. But I think there are other ways to discourage it without the round about which will surely cause a lot of accidents. I'll be interested to hear about their rationale.

- I am as Tracy Performing Arts Foundation e-mail but when I make comments (and I am planning on getting more active for you) I wanted to make sure I delineate between when I speak on behalf of the Tracy Performing Arts Foundation and when I am just speaking on my own behalf. I figured if I was going to comment on Measure E, for example, it probably shouldn't reflect my Tracy Performing Arts Foundation profile, right? Not sure if it's a big difference but I try to separate my life in ways so that I am not creating any conflicts. :-)
