Hey we have something in common. I have been a certified inspector/project manager through ACIA and ICC for over 30 years and now do consulting to my industry. I have an office at the Altamont Cowork across from the tracy Inn. Stop by sometime and we can talk talk about the new ICC Res code or local politics. I ran once for council several years ago, I got beat by a guy named Pombo. lol From what I have see of you I feel you would make a good council member. We need people on the council that do not owe their sole to the developer or real estate community. Represent the people of Tracy and you will win... Good luck

1. I want to see a new or improved animal shelter. We need to do something very soon about the overcrowding and euthanization of healthy animals.
2. I want to see the city utilizing the talent that our city officials bring to the workplace instead of continuing to hire high priced consultants to do what our city officials and departments heads should be given the latitude to do.
3. I want to see the city continuing work toward being a "business friendly" city that businesses want to come to. We need to partner with businesses to help ensure their success and the success of our community.
4. I want to see the city do a better job of markteing it's events, businesses, and services to outside communities as well as the community of Tracy. We do a horrible job of telling people about Tracy and what it has to offer...and giving people a reason to set up business or shop here.
5. I want to see the city "protect" the jobs of our police and fire personnel. Eliminating police officers, firefighters, and reducing services is the LAST place we should be cutting back.
That's just my short list, but I feel very passionate about these issues! Thanks for the lead-in Mike!
