It appears that PG&E may have been conducting inspection or repair of power lines just off of MacArthur this morning using a helicopter. As I was driving down the street, I saw a helicopter with what appeared to be a person, dangling from a long cable. I stopped to take a look. The helicopter flew behind some buildings, picked up someone else, then airlifted and dropped them off at the top of a power line. I only had my camera phone with me, so the pictures aren't that spectacular, but you get the idea.
According to reports I found online, PG&E has an elite crew who routinely work hundreds of feet off the ground and handle thousands of volts of electricity. Looks like a dangerous, but exciting job!

Yes, that's a man being dropped off by a helicopter at the very top of the power line!
